Universal Studios Home Video have announced the Region 1 DVD release of The Scorpion King 2: Rise of a Warrior on 19th August 2008 priced at $29.98 SRP. This straight-to-video sequel directed by Russell Mulcahy (Highlander, Resident Evil: Extinction) looks at how the legend of The Scorpion King began.
