Storm Warning (UK BD) in April
Optimum Home Entertainment have announced the UK Blu-ray Disc release of Storm Warning on 21st April 2008 priced at £19.99. Despite local storm warnings, Rob and Pia Brewer set out for an afternoon of boating on Westernport Bay and become lost in a thick mangrove swamp at the bay’s northern end. As darkness sets in, they come ashore on French Island and – like Goldilocks - find shelter in an old farmhouse, where Rob soon discovers a shed full of hydroponic dope.
Before they can flee, the couple are besieged by the house’s three occupants – a rum-soaked psychopath named Poppy and his two homicidal adult sons, Jimmy and Brett. After Brett breaks Rob’s legs to prevent the couple’s escape, it’s left to the latter’s wife to protect them through the night against the three dope-growers who may turn out to be sorry they ever messed with Pia Brewer….
Arriving day-and-date, features include:
- 1080P Widescreen (VC1)
- Dolby Digital 5.1 Lossless & DTS HD High Res
- Director’s commentary
- Cast Interviews
- Behind the Scenes: Make-Up and SFX
I’ve cut and pasted the audio specs, which we’re assuming mean Dolby True HD and DTS HD HR are on the disc.
