Tartan Asia Extreme Price Cut
Tartan Video have announced a new pricing structure on their Asia Extreme line of titles. Effective across the entire range of Asia Extreme titles from 24th September 2007, all single-disc titles will retail at £14.99 whilst double-disc sets will retail at £19.99.
The price cut coincides with the release of some Asia Extreme titles in September including Johnnie To’s Breaking News, a thrilling heist movie which takes a satirical look at media coverage of a bank robbery and One Last Dance, a stylish noir featuring Harvey Keitel about an assassin gunning for kidnappers in Singapore. Both titles are released on 24th September and will now retail at £14.99.
Also released on 24th September is The Duel Project featuring two films, Aragami and 2LDK directed by Ryuhei Kitamura and Yukihiko Tsutsumi respectively, in accordance with a single set of rules – one-week shoot, one set and no more than three actors. A double-disc set, retail is £19.99 (which is actually no different to the original RRP).
Forthcoming Asia Extreme titles include Omen from the Pang brothers, and Park Chan-Wook’s I’m A Cyborg, But That’s Okay.
