Number One Longing, Number Two Regret

Peccadillo Pictures are proud to announce the release on 9th July of the thought provoking Number One Longing, Number Two Regret. Premiering straight onto DVD, this intriguing thriller is a welcome addition to Peccadillo’s growing roster of independent British cinema. The film marks the directorial debut of Neil Wassell and amongst the stars are Jenny Agutter, Jeremy Bulloch and Paul Conway.

When John Speers (Paul Conway) is arrested on suspicion of murdering his neighbour, detectives Kenosha (Jenny Agutter) and Fett (Jeremy Bulloch) are brought in to investigate the crime. As she spends more and more time with the uncommunicative Spears, Kenosha becomes darkly fascinated by the suspect and soon realises there is much more to the case than meets the eye. Delving into his past, she discovers a man traumatised by a lost love and events so shocking that he can barely speak of them. When she is warned off by an American “security” firm, Spears retreats into his own world once more and appears to be a man on the edge of insanity. Or is he?

Number One Longing, Number Two Regret is released by Peccadillo Pictures on 9th July 2007. The film is presented in anamorphic widescreen with Dolby Digital 2.0 sound. Extra features include Outtakes, Behind The Scenes, Scrapbook and a Director Commentary. The RRP is £19.99.
