Apocalypto (BD) in May

Buena Vista Home Entertainment have announced the US Region A Blu-ray Disc release of Apocalypto for 22nd May 2007 priced at $34.99 SRP. In the twilight of the mysterious Mayan civilization, young Jaguar Paw (newcomer Rudy Youngblood) is captured and taken to the great Mayan city, where he faces a harrowing end. Driven by the power of his love for his wife and son, he makes an adrenaline-soaked, heart-racing escape to rescue them, and ultimately save his way of life.

Arriving day-and-date, features include:

  • 1080P 1.85:1 Widescreen
  • Mayan PCM 5.1 48kHz 24-bit uncompressed sound
  • English, French and Spanish subtitles
  • Feature commentary with writer/director Mel Gibson and co-writer Farhad Safinia
