Transformers: The Movie R2 UE in June

Metrodome have announced the UK DVD release of Transformers: The Movie (Ultimate Edition) on 4th June 2007. The original animated movie returns to DVD once again, this time in advance of the new live-action feature due in cinemas from July, with this Ultimate Edition release offering a new remastered widescreen transfer specially made for this DVD.

Also included are all-new special features, including an interview with story consultant Flint Dille, a Q&A with the voice of Optimus Prime, Peter Cullen and the trailer of the forthcoming live-action movie.

The first few-thousand customers can pick up a Limited Edition Tin Box version. Retail is £22.99.

There is also a single-disc edition, featuring just the first-disc of the two-disc set, priced at £15.99.
