History teacher John Woodson has just lost his job and is pondering what he’s going to do with the rest of his life when he gets an unexpected call from an ex-girlfriend. She tells him that whilst on a journalistic assignment to Peru she has met a group of people who are studying a set of ancient scrolls which make up eight out of nine prophecies. So, when an unsolicited travel brochure to Peru drops through his letterbox, the bemused and rather cynical John decides to embark on what will become the adventure of a lifetime where he will go in search of the missing ninth ‘prophecy’. Travelling through the sweeping landscapes of an ancient Peru he comes to discover that this ‘prophecy’ will ultimately lead to him meeting not only his own destiny but that of all mankind...
