Stereophonics – Rewind in April

Liberation Entertainment have announced the UK DVD release of Stereophonics – Rewind for 2nd April 207 priced at £19.99. Celebrating 10 years Stereophonics will reveal the private face of the band with this documentary which aims to capture everything from the bands inception through to their continued success. Created from hundreds of hours of footage taking in the earliest pre-signed performances, home-movies of their very first gigs as Zephyr and Tragic Love Company, through to their latest sell-out stadium tours, and the making of recent promo videos, ‘Rewind’ documents the unique rags-to-riches journey of one of Britain’s best loved bands.

Directed by Danny O’Connor and produced by Stereophonics the documentary runs over 90mins and includes interviews with the likes of Ronnie Wood, Paul Weller, Noel Gallagher, Bono, Jimmy Page, Jools Holland, Roger Daltrey, the Black Crows and Tom Jones. It also features interviews with the band, never-before-seen archive material plus exclusive behind-the-scenes footage, headline appearances at Glastonbury and the Brit Awards, all presented in anamorphic widescreen 2.0 Stereo and 5.1 Surround audio.

The documentary will also receive a limited theatrical release from 6th March 2007.

In addition to ‘Rewind’ the documentary, the 2-disc DVD boasts over 2½ hours of live performances from 1997 to 2006, including rare recordings, PLUS the never-before-seen 60 min acoustic preview film Just Enough Education To Perform (2001).

‘Rewind’ will receive an initial release as a highly collectable limited edition steelbook, complete with a 32 page colour booklet packed with exclusive photos from Stereophonics’ personal photo album.
