2 Korean Chillers from Tartan this Winter

Tartan Video have announced the UK DVD release of two winter chillers from Korea for release later this year. Cello will arrive on 13th November 2006, with Unborn But Forgotten arriving on 4th December 2006. Retail is £19.99 each.

Cello - Having survived a horrific car rash which killed her best friend, cellist Mi-ju hopes to find a quiet life as a music teacher. However, horrific memories come back to haunt her and turn her world into a nightmare. She becomes the target of a supernatural demon, seeking revenge. But until she knows the reasons why, no-one is safe, even her own daughter who develops an eerie obsession with her cello.

Director Woo-cheol Lee offers an atmospheric Korean chiller that introduces an element of horror into the normality of suburban middle-class family life, touching on the same supernatural landscape of Phone or Acacia.

DVD features include an anamorphic widescreen presentation, DD2.0 Stereo, DD5.1 & DTS 5.1 Surround audio, optional English subtitles, a behind-the-scenes featurette and the original trailer.

Unborn But Forgotten - A television producer is trailing a detective as he investigates a series of mysterious murders of women. Whilst filming in a nightclub, he actually films one women collapse and drop dead instantly. They film what looks like something entering her body. Investigations reveal that there’s a common link to all the deaths: all the victims have visited a website called ‘white room’.
