Terry Pratchett's Johnny and the Bomb in September

Warner Vision have announced the UK Region 2 DVD release of Johnny and the Bomb for 4th September 2006 priced at £17.99. Adapted by Peter Tabern (Stig of the Dump) from Terry Pratchett's Smarties Prize-winning children's novel, and produced by Childsplay Productions for the BBC, this feature-length time-slip adventure stars Zoë Wanamaker (Harry Potter And The Philospher's Stone; TV's My Family and Doctor Who), Frank Finlay (The Pianist), Keith Barron (TV's Where The Heart Is) and, in the lead role of Johnny, George MacKay (Curly in the 2003 film version of Peter Pan).

DVD extras include an extensive interview with Terry Pratchett, talking about the transition from page to screen, the casting, the special effects and the themes of the programme, exclusive to this DVD release.
