Stargate, Hamilton Mattress and comedy titles from MGM

MGM Home Entertainment have announced the following Region 1 DVD releases for 2nd March 2004...

Stargate SG-1 Season 6 Gift Set - This five disc set features all 22 episodes from the sixth season of this popular sci-fi series for the retail price of $69.95. The episodes are presented in Anamorphic Widescreen with English DD5.1 Surround while the following bonus features are present:-

  • Audio Commentaries with the cast, crew and directors for every episode
  • Director series featurettes for 13 episodes
Hamilton Mattress - Created by the BBC Animation Unit and the producer of Wallace & Gromit: The Wrong Trousers, Hamilton Mattress follows a dowdy, homely aardvark named Sludger, a.k.a. "Hamilton Mattress." With the aid of smooth-talking talent agent Feldwick Hacken bush, Hamilton, an unassuming aardvark with a flair for all things rhythmic, begins playing drums at the hottest nightclub in Beak City, a trendy metropolis that’s decidedly for the birds. But when he learns that his snout could cost him his shot at stardom, Hamilton must either submit to a radical makeover…or find some other way to let his talents shine through!

With a running time of just 30-minutes the disc has low retail price of $14.95 and offers the following features:-

MGM will also debut a series of comedy titles on 2nd March 2004 all with a retail price of $14.95 each. Mad Dog Time is Full Screen with DD5.1 Surround audio, Carbon Copy, Clifford and Without a Clue are Full Screen with Stereo Surround audio, Walk Like A Man is Full Screen with Mono audio, Spacecamp is Widescreen but non-anamorphic with Stereo Surround audio, and Take This Job And Shove It is Anamorphic Widescreen with Mono sound. All feature their Original Theatrical Trailers.
