The Claude Chabrol Collection in April
Arrow Films have announced the UK DVD release of The Claude Chabrol Collection for 17th April 2006 priced at £44.99. Claude Chabrol is one of the most renowned and acclaimed directors of French Cinema. The pioneer of the French “nouvelle vague” movement, his thrillers are held in the same regard as the work of Hitchcock (he’s affectionately known as “The French Hitchcock) due to his penetrating and often unforgettable studies of murder, obsession, adultery, and the facades of human relationships. Les Biches was the film that established him as a director of note, going on to create a remarkable body of work over the next 3 decades. The best of these are contained in this collection.
