Due for release on 13th January 2004 are:
B.A.P.S. - Nesi (Halle Berry) and Mickey (Natalie Desselle) are two waitresses at a crossroads. Underpaid and unappreciated, they dream of owning a combination restaurant/hair salon. There’s a problem: they’re broke. So when the chance to audition as dance girls for a music video pops up, they head to Los Angeles. They fail to get the part, but Nesi lands in the most improbable role of all, impersonating the granddaughter of an ailing billionaire’s (Martin Landau) long-lost love for $10,000 and full use of his Beverly Hills estate.
Who’s the Man? - In Who’s the Man?, rap superstars Doctor Dre and Ed Lover (MTV’s “YO! MTV Raps”) star with Dennis Leary (Ice Age, TV’s “The Job”) and over 50 top rap artists, including Queen Latifah (Chicago, Bringing Down the House), Kris Kross, Heavy D, Salt ‘n Pepa and Naughty By Nature in the first hip-hop whodunit. Dre and Lover are two bumbling barbers turned reluctant New York cops who became heroes when they clean up the streets of Harlem. Along the way, this modern-day Abbott & Costello engage in their own hilarious and totally outrageous style of law enforcement.
Woo - Jada Pinkett Smith is the delightfully devilish Woo, a sexy, sassy party girl who knows what she wants – and always gets it! When a psychic tells her she’s about to meet her match, she takes a chance on a blind date with Tim (Tommy Davidson), a mild-mannered law student who is a lot more like Clark Kent than Superfly. But Woo and Tim are about to discover they have a real soul connection, as they and their friends (Dave Chappelle, Duane Martin, Paula Jai Parker and LL Cool J) spend one hilariously funny night in New York City.
Hangin’ With The Homeboys - In the critically acclaimed urban comedy, four Bronx buddies head to Manhattan for a wild night on the town. A talented cast including John Leguizamo (Moulin Rouge, Collateral Damage) and Doug E. Doug (Eight Legged Freaks) brings humor and honesty to the homeboys. Together, they have almost nothing in common except the desire to escape their ghetto neighbourhood for the bright lights of Manhattan. Their wild tour of the city takes them from an uptown house party to an excusive downtown nightclub, from peep show to police station, and finally to a late-night confrontation that changes their lives forever.
Due for release on 20th January 2004 is Overnight Delivery, a romantic comedy starring Reese Witherspoon and Paul Rudd, two new “friends” who embark on a wild trip across the country to stop the delivery of a nasty package.
