A Halloween treat: Suspiria Audio Commentary

As part of DVDTimes' Halloween Special we thought site readers might be interested in our very own Michael Mackenzie's audio commentary for what is considered one of the finest examples of Italian horror - or any branch of horror for that matter - Dario Argento's Suspiria.

As Michael explains on his commentary page this was his first effort and very much a learning experience. As someone with a passing interest in Argento's films and keen to learn more I recently took in the first half of the commentary and was impressed by the level of detail present, offering both publicly accepted opinion and personal opinion on the film complete with technical points of interest and influences seen throughout. Well researched and edited together this should prove to be an interesting track for both newcomers and diehard fans of Argento's work.

But don't take my word for it, sample the track for yourself which is available in MP3 format and timed to both NTSC and PAL uncut versions. Clear instructions are provided within the audio to help you sync up Michael's comments to the film, allowing him to pinpoint specific shots of interest with ease.
