Ghost In The Shell: Stand Alone Complex Vol.7 in November

Manga Entertainment have announced the UK Region 2 DVD release of Ghost In The Shell: Stand Alone Complex Volume 7 for 14th November 2005 priced at £19.99. The ongoing investigations of female cyborg Major Motoko Kusanagi and the officers of Section 9 come to an end with episodes 24 to 26 of the explosive 26-episode series.

This two-disc set includes episodes 24 to 26 repeated across both discs in anamorphic widescreen. Disc one offers English and Japanese language tracks in Dolby Digital 2.0 and 5.1, while disc two offers English and Japanese language tracks in Dolby Digital 2.0 and DTS 5.1 audio. Optional English subtitles are of course present.

Bonus features include: Interview with Kenji Kamiyama (Director); “The Science of Stand Alone Complex” featurette; Interview with TERRATAG “Designing The Laughing Man” UK Exclusive Featurette; Trailers and Previews; Episode Synopsis; Easter Egg – Exclusive Sneak Peek at 2ND GIG; Bonus multi-media for PC DVD-ROM including The Laughing Man hacker simulator, wallpaper and links to the new website.

Also released on 14th November 2005 is a Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex – Complete Box Set. Priced at £39.99 this seven-disc set includes the complete series, bundling together the Dolby Digital 5.1 discs from the individual releases (which also contain the majority of extras).
