Mallrats 10th Anniversary Extended Edition in September - Menus added

Universal Studios Home Video have announced the Region 1 DVD release of Mallrats 10th Anniversary Extended Edition for 20th September 2005 priced at $26.98 SRP. Following the 10th Anniversary Edition release of Clerks Kevin Smith has turned his attention to his second feature film approaching its 10th Anniversary, Mallrats, working with Universal to bring fans another feature packed DVD release.

A single DVD18 holds the original theatrical cut (96mins) on side one and an all-new extended cut (123mins) with approximately 30-minutes of additional and alternative material on side two. Detailed features follow...

Kevin Smith has also said there are three new Easter Eggs on the disc, but no new commentary as "Mos and I just felt like everything there was to say was said in the old commentary track, the new doc, the Q&A, and the new intro to the new cut". He also states they had to lose the multi-angle video option on the old commentary track due to space constraints.
