ADV Films in May

ADV Films have sent through details on their UK Region 2 line-up for May 2005. They have six new titles on the cards including the next in their range of complete series collection releases with Bubblegum Crisis Tokyo 2040. Arriving on 16th May 2005 the titles are...

Bubblegum Crisis Tokyo 2040: Complete Collection (RRP £59.99) - Arguably one of the best-known titles in the history of Japanese animation, Bubblegum Crisis began its life as one of the first major hits of a mid-eighties boom in made-for-video animations. Original co-producers AIC and original series director Hayami Hayashi reunited to produce Bubblegum Crisis 2040, a twenty-six episode TV series using computer-assisted animation, featuring new character designs and a more intricate and fully developed storyline. BGC 2040 is not a sequel to the original but a new interpretation and elaboration on the same basic plot, characters and concept. With this new Collection, the complete story can now be followed through to its dramatic and exciting conclusion.

The Complete Collection brings together all six volumes in Nexpak's smart M-Lock 6 case, wrapped in UK exclusive artwork. The set includes all 26 episodes in English 5.1 and Japanese 2.0 language versions, with English subtitles, and ADV previews.
