Salon Kitty Director's Cut in in April

Argent Films have announced the UK Region 2 DVD release of Salon Kitty for 25th April 2005 priced at £19.99. The most shocking and controversial of Italian director Tinto Brass' films, Salon Kitty presents a serious, unflinching depiction of moral decay within the Nazi Party at the time of World War II, and of how power ultimately leads to corruption.

Now, courtesy of Argent Films, the fully restored Director's Cut of this notorious film is being made available on DVD, presented in its original widescreen format, completely uncensored and featuring 21 minutes of never-seen-before footage. They do warn however, that despite the film's arthouse credentials, this Director's Cut of Salon Kitty contains scenes that some viewers may find disturbing and is certainly not a film for those easily offended.

Special Features include anamorphic widescreen presentation, exclusive 24-minute interview (in English) with director Tinto Brass, theatrical trailer and trailers for Argent's "Forbidden Fruits" and "Westerns Trail" releases.
