Here is a look at the pack shot and the synopsis from the press release...
From the PR:
NARC is directed by JOE CARNAHAN and stars JASON PATRIC (Sleepers, The Lost Boys) as Nick Tellis, RAY LIOTTA (Goodfellas, Field of Dreams) as Henry Oak and BUSTA RHYMES (Higher Learning, Shaft) as Beery. TOM CRUISE (Mission Impossible: 2) was so taken with the project that he decided to join the production team.
NARC explores the dark and dangerous underbelly of the Detroit drugs world. NICK TELLIS (PATRIC) is an undercover narcotics officer who was suspended 18-months ago when a drugs bust went wrong and a stray bullet hit a pregnant woman. To the dismay of his wife, TELLIS is reluctantly drawn back onto the force to find out the truth behind the murder of a young police officer killed in the line of duty.
HENRY OAK (LIOTTA), his colleague for the investigation, was the slain officer’s partner, a rogue cop who will stop at nothing to avenge his friend’s death. As TELLIS and OAK follow leads, the case begins to unravel. The Detroit drugs world reveals itself as being more twisted than TELLIS could ever have imagined. Informants turn up dead, whilst the evidence seems to point to an auto body shop and the top brass have changed their minds and want to close the case.
The shocking and stark filmic style of NARC makes it compulsive viewing. Will the truth be revealed? Will TELLIS ever know? Or will the case destroy him? NARC’s stunning denouement will reveal all. This is one that film buffs cannot miss.
