Warner's Classic Comedies Collection in March

Warner Home Video have announced the Region 1 DVD release of two Grant-Hepburn classics as two-disc special editions for 1st March 2005. Bringing Up Baby, one of the most beloved American film comedies of all time, starring Cary Grant and Katharine Hepburn, makes its DVD debut on March 1st from Warner Home Video. It's joined by another Grant-Hepburn classic, The Philadelphia Story, first released at DVD's inception and now beautifully remastered. Both are being released as Two-Disc Special Editions with commentaries, critically acclaimed documentaries and other bonus extras.

These special edition releases will be available separately and also make up part of The Classic Comedies Collection in which an additional four titles will be available: Libeled Lady, To Be or Not To Be, Stage Door and Dinner at Eight.

William Powell, Spencer Tracy, Ginger Rogers, Lucille Ball, Jack Benny, Carole Lombard, Jean Harlow and Myrna Loy star in the films.

Pricing of the collection will be $26.99 SRP for each Two-Disc Special Edition, while the single titles will sell for $19.97 SRP. The collection will be offered as a gift set for $68.92 SRP.
