Star Wars: Yet another rumour!

According to reports on The Force.net George Lucas has stated in a radio interview that ILM are currently working on the DVD for Star Wars: Episode 1.

According to the interview on the American KROQ radio station, the DVD will contain "extra footage, scenes etc". No release date has been mentioned, but if this is true then it confirms everyone's suspicion that Lucas is just out to make as much money as he can out of multiple releases.
Time will tell...

Further to this, I have just spoken with a very reliable contact who tells me that there is in fact an official film-only DVD of The Phantom Menace which is being used as a promotional disc. While I cannot confirm this, I am enclined to believe the person who passed on the details.

Even more interesting another related rumour, from the same source, that the disc could appear in November (No Region specified). Now this isn't in any way confirmed and can only be treated as rumour at best. Don't blame me if it's wrong!
