Three Kings @ Live 2000
Warner Home Video are planning to give the DVD format a big push at Live 2000. As part of 'The DVD Experience', Warner believes that this disc will demonstrate the advantages of the format and will encourage more people to take the plunge.
Warner's DVD category manager, Jason Mather said:
|"We believe Live 2000 is the perfect vehicle to educate the consumer about DVD and Three Kings on DVD is the perfect disc to demonstrate the versatility of the format. Many of the early technology adopters have bought into DVD but research indicates that tehre is still much to be done on educating and demonstrating DVD to the mass consumer. In fact, statistics reveal that demonstration of the format increases propensity to but into the format by more than double. Live 2000 is now attracting a broader type of consumer that goes beyond the traditional early adopters and, therefore provides us with the perfect opportunity to reach more people with the DVD message."|
Live 2000 runs from 21st to 24th September, and the Warner DVD Experience will be free to all visitors between 10am and 6pm - tickets must be picked up in advance from the ticket office. There will be three 15 minute showings per hour and Warner will also be selling DVD discs at the event.
The best thing is, both Carl and myself should be in attendance on at least one of the days so we'll be able to report back to those of you who are unable to attend...
