MGM are releasing a number of back catalogue titles in November and a right mixture they are as well. None of them have special features, only a trailer.
The Bounty, Class, Code Of Silence, Escape From New York, Malice all feature anamorphic transfers, and apart from the first will have a fullscreen version included. The Bounty with Anthony Hopkins camping it up as Captain Bligh, and Mel Gibson looking embarrassed, has a Dolby Digital 5.1 soundtrack. John Carpenter's popular favourite Escape From New York has a 2.0 surround track and, to much disappointment, none of the extras from the laserdisc. Malice has a 2.0 surround soundtrack. Chuck Norris's best starring vehicle - which isn't saying much - the mildly engrossing Code Of Silence is mono only, as is Class.
All of the above have a suggested retail price of $19.95, heavily discounted by many stores on pre-order.
