PS2 Getting More Expensive By The Minute
World Exclusive! Probably.
Time for more of your favourite type of news; PS2 news! This time it's to tell you that you won't be able to pick up one of those black boxes of joy for the £299 you thought you'd be spending. Oh no, instead you'll have to shell out a minimum of £400 English pounds for a games/PS2 bundle.
At least, that is if you buy from any store in the Dixons' Store Group (DSG) which include Dixons (obviously), Currys and more recently Gameplay. The bundles will shape up like this;
The Ultimate Bundle - £500
Home Entertainment Bundle - £400
Games Bundle - £400
So, that's the short and curlies of it, you either buy it with the amount of games and accessories DSG want you to buy it with, or you get it from somewhere else. Nice.
Oh, one last thing, DSG are also saying that they can guarantee pre-Christmas delivery for a £25 deposit which is very clever of them, 'cos Sony are saying they can't. But hey, I'm sure that if they say they can, they can.
