Warner announce two for February

Warner Home Video have announced two more titles for release early next year - neither of which sound very promising... The Fugitive: The Chase Continues appears to be a 'made-for-TV' sequel to the original big screen version of The Fugitive starring Harrison Ford. This time around we have Tim Daly in the role of Dr Kimble - the man falsely accused of murdering his own wife, and Mykelti Williamson plays the part of Lieutenant Phillip Gerrard - the cop who has to take him back into custody. Apart from the obvious continuity issues, I don't get the impression that this will be a disc on many people's shopping lists. If you are interested however, you'll be pleased to hear we get a 1.85:1 widescreen transfer, DD5.1 sound, a featurette and the theatrical trailer. The Fugitive: The Chase Continues is due for DVD release on 5 February retailing at £15.99. Next we have Gossip - yet another 'young Hollywood actors' outing, this time focussing on the way that rumours can quickly spread out of control. Gossip stars Joshua Jackson, James Marsden and Kate Hudson. The DVD will be released on 26 February retailing at £15.99 and will feature a 16:9 transfer, DD5.1 sound and an interesting array of extras including a commentary, deleted scenes, an alternate ending, Travis 'Gossip Interviews', 'Grab Bag' music videos and a montage.
