Region 1 is dancing in the dark

Easily one of the most controversial films in recent years (did any other title appear on so many critics' 2000 Best and Worst Films lists?), Lars Von Trier's notorious Bjork vehicle Dancer in the Dark is getting the deluxe treatment from New Line, befitting its multiple Cannes award-winning status. In addition to an anamorphic 2.35:1 transfer (though don't expect digital perfection: it was shot on video!) and both Dolby Digital and DTS 5.1 soundtracks, there are two commentaries, neatly separating Von Trier and Bjork (let's just say their working relationship was a bit stormy, and with any luck we'll get to hear all about it in graphic detail), plus two featurettes, the trailer and the usual biography/filmographies, while for those with DVD-ROM drives the entire website is also included. Dancer in the Dark will be out on 20 March in Region 1.
