DVD Audio - it's coming

It's finally about to arrive. The long awaited extension of the DVD format, DVD-Audio, is just around the corner. After a somewhat muted US release towards the end of last year, Warner Music have announced their intention to release 25 DVD-Audio titles worldwide from 6 April.

In order to retain backwards-compatibility, the announced titles will all contain standard Dolby Digital multi-channel mixes alongside the DVD-Audio tracks. This will mean you'll be able to play them on your standard DVD-Video player.

The initial batch of titles is expected to include:
