Arrow Films announce four new titles

Over the next two months Arrow Films will release four quite diverse titles to R2 DVD.

March 25th sees two films from the master of erotic horror, Jess Franco...

The Awful Dr Orlof is the tale of a maniac doctor who hopes to restore the face of his disfigured wife with skin grafts from beautiful women, aided by his monster Morpho, and features the extras of a director's filmography and the Arrow Films catalogue.

Female Vampire tells the story of the evil Countess Iriana who sucks the life (and other things) from her prey. Presented here in its full-strength version and for the first time in the widescreen format, the release is packed with extras including director's filmography, original Spanish trailer, alternative opening sequence, deleted scenes and the Arrow films catalogue.

April 22nd sees a further two titles from Arrow Films...

Madame Bovary is from director Claude Chabrol and is a scrumptious production of this faithfully adapted work of literature, Isabelle Huppert is perfectly cast as the passionate and rebellious Emma Bovary. Special Features are limited to Filmographies and Biographies for Claude Chabrol, Isabelle Huppert and Jean Francois Balmer.

Bagdad Cafe - The internationally renowned and Oscar Nominated Bagdad Cafe (aka Out of Rosenheim) is a film about love, friendship and joy found in an unlikely place with unlikely people. A joy to watch and a gem to own the DVD will contain Filmographies and Biographies for Director Percy Adlon, Marianne Sagebrecht, CCH Pounder, Jack Palance and Christine Kaufmann, an Audio Commentary with Percy Adlon and Marianne Sagebrecht and a Production Photo Gallery.

Retail on all four titles is £15.99.
