Warner Home Video have announced a 50th Anniversary Special Edition Double DVD of Singin' in the Rain for the 4th November 2002 with an RRP of £24.99. This double DVD release features the anniversary restoration of the film complete with an all-new Dolby Surround 5.1 soundtrack and is packed with never before seen special features...

This announcement follows on from Warner's recent 2-disc special edition line-up (details here) and leaves only True Romance unconfirmed for a R2 release from the initial R1 lineup (details here).
