Some details on the show from the Press Release...

The Emmy Award winning Futurama Season 2 is rocketing on to DVD and VHS on November 11th from Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment. Put your sofa seatbelt on as Futurama Season 2 launches into life in this remarkable animation creation. This visually stunning boxset, full of amazing extras, reintroduces us to the unique vision of Matt Groening and his favourite futuristic folks frolicking, diving with mermaids and murdering each other.

The season commences with mischievous antics from Bender as he flushes Nibbler down the toilet in I Second That Emotion. The lovely Leela, whilst still fighting off Fry’s eternal affection, seeks revenge for her beloved pet. But will Bender be able to stand the worst punishment - feelings?

Unbelievably, this season sees the union of Fry and Amy. Has Fry finally found love? Or will he find it when he and the crew dive to the bottom of the ocean? What was Atlanta is now a waterworld inhabited by merpeople, converted from humans by the caffeine in Coka Cola.

Joining the fabulous voices of regulars John Di Maggio and Billy West is John Goodman. He lends his jolly voice to Santa Claus who, much to the surprise of Fry, in the 31st Century is an 8 ft robot.

Fans of quality animation on DVD will not be disappointed as the rules of success from the amazing Furturama Season 1 DVD boxset have been maintained in Season 2. Again, the collectable metallic packaging is phenomenal and surrounds a home entertainment package that cannot be found on TV, as Matt Groening takes you right in to the heart of his fantastical creation with in-depth behind the scenes footage.

The DVD boxset is a must buy for any DVD fan with amazing extras such as the alien alphabet, many deleted scenes, trailers and running commentary throughout every episode. Futurama reeks quality that can be watched over and over and never fails to bore. The many levels of Matt Groening’s creation will continue to entertain you right into the 31st Century…
