have announced 7 new DVD-Audio titles for release on the 28th October 2002. Here is what the Press Release has to say...

Warner Vision continues to go from strength to strength by releasing seven more cutting edge, multi-channel DVD Audio albums from some of the top rock and pop recording artists. New releases include Linkin Park (Reanimation), R.E.M (Reveal), Alanis Morissette (Under Rug Swept), Neil Young (Harvest), Miles Davis (Tutu), Disturbed (Believe) and Trey Anastasio's self-titled album (the latter is best known as the guitarist, singer and frontman for the U.S. rock band Phish).

Simon Heller, General Manager at Warner Vision, "These new releases illustrate that Warner is releasing current albums in multi-channel sound from some of the biggest contemporary artists. Linkin Park will open the door to a new young rock audience, most of who are into computer games and new technology, and they will embrace the multi-channel experience. These are exciting times."

Classic albums like Neil Young's Harvest will strike a chord for those whom bought the original and can't wait to hear it in its purest form. Fans of Alanis Morissette and R.E.M. will be knocked out by the breathtaking Surround Sound reproduction of their most recent studio offerings. Jazz enthusiasts will marvel at the multi-channel release of Miles Davis' milestone album Tutu.

All seven albums will be jam-packed with audio and visual supplementary material. Linkin Park features four videos and a weblink, while the Alanis Morissette album will include an interview, The Making of Under Rug Swept documentary, photos and lyrics.

All albums will be released in Advanced Resolution Mutli-Channel Surround Sound (96khz/24-bit).
