X-Men 1.5 CE and more from Fox

Those who keep up to date with DVD news will be well aware that a special Collectors Edition of X-Men has been on the cards now ever since the first DVD release became available. Finally Fox Home Entertainment have announced this new version for a February 11th 2003 release and dubbed it the X-Men 1.5 Collectors Edition. This two disc set will see the theatrical version of the film (plans for an extended cut have been scrapped) presented in 2.35:1 Anamorphic Widescreen with English DD5.1 and DTS 5.1 Surround tracks along with an introduction to the film by director Bryan Singer, deleted scenes and an audio commentary with Singer and other participants.

Disc two of the set will feature another intro with Singer and five featurettes; The Making of X-Men: Part 1 (Origin of The X-Men); Part 2 (The Uncanny Suspects); Part 3 (X-Factor); Part 4 (Shooting X-Men); and Part 5 (Remembering The X-Men). Also present are 3 Trailers, 13 TV-Spots, 11 Internet interstitials, an X-Men 2 Teaser Trailer and a short 'Behind the scenes of X-Men 2' preview and more TBA. Retail is $26.95.

Jennifer Aniston's critically acclaimed performance in The Good Girl will be available on DVD from January 7th with both Anamorphic and Full Screen transfers present with English and French DD5.1 Audio options, an audio commentary by director Miguel Arteta, writer Mike White and Aniston, 9 deleted scenes and an alternate ending with optional commentary, and the theatrical trailer. Retail is $27.95.

Robin Williams superb performance in One Hour Photo arrives on January 28th with an Anamorphic Widescreen Transfer, English and French DD5.1 soundtracks, an audio commentary by director Mark Romanek and actor Robin Williams, a "Charlie Rose Show" interview with the star, the Cinemax making-of and Sundance "Anatomy Of A Scene" specials, and of course the theatrical trailer. Retail is $27.95.

M*A*S*H: The Complete Third Season will arrive on February 18th 2003 as a 3-disc set with all episodes presented in Full Frame with English Mono audio, with or without the 'laugh track'. Retail is $39.95.
