The session, only the second produced solely for MTV Europe, was recorded at the Ardmore Studios just outside of Dublin. The band members were well aware that they were being both filmed and recorded with no time for corrections, yet this allowed their natural acoustic sound to shine through. The Corrs Unplugged provided an opportunity for the band to showcase Radio, and the R.E.M classic, Everybody Hurts, a track performed originally at their November 1998 benefit concert for the victims of the bombing in Omagh, Northern Ireland.
Their most mature album yet, In Blue repeated the success of its predecessors and proved to be another multi-platinum record, selling six million copies worldwide.
