Django and more Spaghetti Westerns in September
Almost a year after their debut release with The Battle of Algiers, Argent Films have finally announced their follow-up titles. Arriving on 27th September 2004 priced at £17.99 each are three spaghetti westerns as part of two DVD releases...
Django - One of the greatest Spaghetti Westerns ever made, and without a doubt the most influential, Sergio Corbucci's iconic masterpiece Django is a landmark piece of cinema revered by film critics and Western genre fans alike. Originally banned in several countries (and denied a certificate by the BBFC in the UK until 1993), the film made an international star of Franco Nero and, worldwide, spawned over 50 unauthorised sequels. Now, thanks to Argent Films, DJANGO can finally be seen in its intended glory for the first time on DVD. Fully restored and transferred from the original camera negative, this is without doubt the most complete, beautiful and definitive version of Django ever seen.
Special Features include exclusive introduction by acclaimed filmmaker Alex Cox, brand new exclusive interview with Franco Nero, anamorphic widescreen (16 x 9) presentation, theatrical trailer, plus "Western Trail" – trailers for Argent's forthcoming spaghetti western releases.

Castellari's seminal and highly acclaimed masterpiece Keoma and Ferdinando Baldi's rarely-seen gem Texas, Adios. Special Features include exclusive introduction by acclaimed filmmaker Alex Cox, brand new extensive interview with director Enzo G. Castellari, theatrical trailers, plus "Western Trail" – trailers for Argent's forthcoming spaghetti western releases.
