White Oleander will debut on March 11th in both Anamorphic Widescreen and Fullscreen editions, each carrying a retail price of $27.95. Features include...

March 28th sees the release of recent horror flick Ghost Ship. Like most new movies receiving the DVD treatment you will find that separate Anamorphic Widescreen and Fullscreen editions will be available (and unique to this title - in lenticular motion packaging), each retailing at $27.95 and containing the following features.

  • Multiple featurettes:
    • Max on Set: Behind the Scenes of Ghost Ship
    • Designing the Ghost Ship - a look at the visual effects
    • Secrets of the Antonia Graza - featuring new footage that delves into how they plotted to take over the boat

And in an unexpected move Warner have announced the June 3rd R1 DVD release of Empire Records Bootleg Cut - Special Fan Edition. Featuring an all new cut of this cult favourite in Anamorphic Widescreen, you will also find DD5.1 Audio, commentary from director Allan Moyle, rare music videos, and of course the obligatory trailers. Retail is $24.95.

Free Willy 10th Anniversary Edition will arrive on January 28th. Replacing the current 'movie-only' edition this new release will retail at $19.95 and includes the following features...

Free Willy 2: The Adventure Home and Free Willy 3: The Rescue will also arrive on January 28th retailing at $19.95 each, though these are movie-only releases (Anamorphic Widescreen with English DD5.1 Audio) and contain no significant extra features.

February 4th brings with it a Special Edition R1 DVD release of Driving Miss Daisy for the retail price of $19.95. Features include...

Moving on to April 1st Warner will release Friends: The Complete Third Season. Each episode will be presented in 4:3 Fullscreen with all new remixed DD5.0 Surround audio. Extra features include Audio Commentary by the producers on selected episodes (unknown at this time), an interactive map of Joey and Chandler's bachelor pad, the Friends Guest Book, and a Trivia Challenge game. Retail is $69.95.
