Infernal Affairs and Audition CE in June
Tartan Video have announced the UK DVD release of Infernal Affairs for 28th June 2004. This explosive Hong Kong action thriller starring Andy Lau and Tony Leung will offer a number of exciting extras including a behind the scenes documentary, commentary by directors Andy Mak and Andrew Lau, an outtakes reel, and an English language option alongside the usual subtitled version. It’s also presented in a choice a Dolby Digital and DTS 5.1 Surround Sound.
Update (30/04/2004): Tartan Video has just confirmed that it has secured an exclusive for its DVD release of Infernal Affairs. In addition to the previously announced extra features, the disc will now include the alternate ending, which is only available on the Hong Kong version. This ending is currently not available on any English language disc or in any other world territory.

Arriving the same day is a new Collector's Edition release of Audition. Miike Takashi’s cult shocker was one of the first titles to launch the Asia Extreme label. Now it’s been given the remastered treatment with a new anamorphic print; newly created subtitles, and a specially prepared 5.1 track with Dolby Digital and DTS options.
