Hammer classics in June from Warner

Warner Home Video have announced the UK Region 2 DVD release of Hammer classics Dracula Has Risen From The Grave, Frankenstein Must Be Destroyed and Taste The Blood Of Dracula for 16th June 2004 with a retail price of £12.99 each.

Dracula Has Risen From The Grave (1968) - A year since his death, Dracula has left behind a faithless priest and a village shrouded by superstition. When the bloodshed of the fallen priest sparks the vampire's renaissance, he vows to avenge the Monsignor who sealed his castle with a crucifix. The tension created by director Freddie Francis is genuinely unsettling and particularly macabre. Starring Christopher Lee at his most chilling.

Frankenstein Must Be Destroyed (1969) - In the fifth of Hammer's Frankenstein offerings the terror is taken away from the monster and placed in the treacherous hands of the Baron (Peter Cushing). Having abducted his former assistant Dr Brandt (George Pravda) from a lunatic asylum he masterminds a perilous brain transplant. Perhaps the darkest and most disturbing of the Frankenstein series, Cushing's performance will continue to haunt you long after the disc stops spinning.

Taste The Blood Of Dracula (1970) - In an attempt to escape their predictable bourgeoisie existence, Lord Courtley (Ralph Bates) and three equally depraved elderly gentlemen embark on the resurrection of Dracula. When the ceremony results in Courtley's death, the others flee, and the vampire begins a tyrannous campaign of revenge through the ones they love the most - their daughters! Seduction, corruption and romance are all entwined in this sinister tale.
