The Bourne Identity Explosive Extended Edition in July

Universal Studios Home Video have announced the Region 1 DVD release of The Bourne Identity Explosive Extended Edition for 13th July 2004 with a retail price of $29.98. Scheduled to coincide with the sequels theatrical release this new 'Explosive Edition' continues Universal's obsession with milking their bigger hits with ridiculously titled re-issues.

Available in separate anamorphic widescreen and full screen editions this new release loses the DTS track and majority of extras found on the original release and supplements them with the following features...

The film is listed with the same running time as the existing edition (119mins) and with the new opening and alternate ending listed as extras we presume they are viewable both separately and tacked on to the film.
