Ben Wheatley's Rebecca adds Keeley Hawes, Ann Dowd, Sam Riley and Ben Crompton

Netflix have announced that Keeley Hawes is to join the cast of Ben Wheatley's new film, Rebecca. She'll be joined by Ann Dowd,. Sam Riley and Ben Crompton.

Rebecca tells the story of a newly-married young woman who, on arriving at her husband's imposing family estate on a bleak English coast, finds herself battling the shadow of his dead first wife, the mysterious Rebecca, whose legacy continues to haunt the house.

Rebecca has been adapted to the screen by Jane Goldman, who is currently working on the Game of Thrones prequel series for HBO with script revisions by Joe Shrapnel and Anna Waterhouse. The film is based on the novel by Daphne Du Maurier.

In addition, the film also stars Kristin Scott Thomas, Lily James and Armie Hammer.
