It: Chapter Two trailer: Welcome back to Derry - where no-one ever really dies
Most people expected the first It film to be a hit, but not to rake in $700 million at the box office on a $35 million budget - making it the highest grossing horror movie of all time. That sort of return means Hollywood can’t get enough Stephen King right now, with Pet Sematary already in the bag, a James Wan-produced Salem’s Lot in the works, Doctor Sleep (a sequel to The Shining) arriving this October, and titles like Firestarter, Hearts in Atlantis and In the Tall Grass amongst some of those in the pipeline. But before all of that, take a look at the first trailer for It: Chapter Two.
Twenty-seven years after the events of the summer of 1989, It returns. The Losers' Club fulfill their promises and return to Derry to put an end to the evil being once and for all. Unbeknownst to them, It has returned, stronger and crueler than ever.
Andy Muschietti returns to direct, with the cast starting Jessica Chastain, James McAvoy, Bill Hader, Isaiah Mustafa, Bill Skarsgård, Jay Ryan, Xavier Dolan, James Ransone and Andy Bean.
It: Chapter Two opens in UK and US theatres on 6th September.
