New Spider-Man: Far From Home trailer: The Endgame has been reached but the spoilers continue

Avengers: Endgame is firmly set to become the highest grossing movie of all time (without factoring in inflation). It is already at number two on the list after racking up $2.188 billion in only 11 days (it took Avatar 47 days to hit the $2 billion mark). Although the film feels like the end of something big, which of course it is, Marvel president Kevin Feige said recently, Spider-Man: Far From Home will close out Phase Three rather than Endgame (before Joe Russo suggested Endgame was the final piece of the current puzzle).

The arrival of this new trailer also brings with it something of a first: a short intro featuring Tom Holland warning it will contain spoilers for Endgame (although the first trailer already did reveal some elements). The Russos have said the Endgame 'spoiler-ban' ended after the weekend which now makes more sense with today's trailer drop.

Last month we got the first trailer for Spider-Man: Far From Home which revealed Jake Gyllenhaal as Mysterio appearing to help Peter and his friends in the middle of a European school trip. Feige also previously confirmed the film takes place minutes after the conclusion of Endgame, which means it could potentially feature a post-credit sequence teasing what's to come in Phase Four when it is kicked off by a yet unconfirmed film on 1st May 2020. There are still a lot of unanswered questions about Spider-Man following Endgame, and you should hit play above to see if any of them have been answered in the new trailer for Spider-Man: Far From Home.

Peter Parker and his friends go on summer holidays to Europe. However, the friends will hardly be able to rest - Peter will have to agree to help Nick Fury uncover the mystery of creatures that cause natural disasters and destruction throughout the continent

Jon Watts returns to direct, with Tom Holland in the lead and a supporting cast starring Jon Favreau, Zendaya, Jake Gyllenhaal, Michael Keaton, Cobie Smulders, Marisa Tomei, Samuel L. Jackson, Angourie Rice, Toni Revolori, Jacob Batalon, Remy Hii and Numan Acar.

Spider-Man: Far From Home swings into UK and US cinemas on 2nd July.
