Last Avengers: Endgame trailer: The final countdown begins

With only 10 days to go until the release of what will probably be the highest grossing film in history (which will then be topped by Stars Wars: The Rise of Skywalker at the end of the year), everything that can be said about Avengers: Endgame ahead of its release has pretty much been covered. Leaks have already started to appear online with big character reveals popping up in filmed footage from fan screenings around the world, so it's either a case of going social media cold turkey for the next week and a half, or running the risk of bumping into a reveal you'll regret for the next few weeks. The last trailer mashes up all 21 of the Marvel films so far, before number 22 takes over the world for the foreseeable future from next Thursday. Check out the final trailer for Avengers: Endgame above.

The grave course of events set in motion by Thanos that wiped out half the universe and fractured the Avengers ranks compels the remaining Avengers to take one final stand in Marvel Studios’ grand conclusion to twenty-two films.

Directors Anthony Russo and Joe Russo return to finish what they started. A small selection of the characters and cast in the film include, Brie Larson as Captain Marvel, Chadwick Boseman’s Black Panther, Benedict Cumberbatch’s Doctor Strange, Chris Evans’ Captain America, Mark Ruffalo as The Hulk, Tom Holland’s Spider-Man, Robert Downey Jr.’s Iron Man, Samuel L. Jackson as Nick Fury, Paul Rudd’s Ant-Man, Chris Hemsworth as Thor, Scarlett Johansson as Black Widow, Jeremy Renner as Hawkeye, Chris Pratt as Star Lord and the Guardians of the Galaxy and Josh Brolin as the voice of Thanos.

Avengers: Endgame arrives in UK cinemas on 25th April.
