New Farmageddon: A Shaun the Sheep Movie trailer: Shaun makes one giant leap for lamb-kind
Back in mid-December we were finally given a first look at Aardman's new film, Famageddon: A Shaun the Sheep Movie. The release date was quite some way off then (there are still 3 months to go) but we now have another chance to take a closer look at what's in-store. We're not too sure about the tone of this trailer - the voiceover at first sounds like a parody but it soon becomes apparent it's not. Hopefully this doesn't go the same way as Early Man last year, although as Pixar have shown over the past decade, the longer the studio is in existence, the harder it is to maintain the high standards set in the early days. See for yourself with the new trailer for Famageddon: A Shaun the Sheep Movie.
Strange lights over the quiet town of Mossingham herald the arrival of a mystery visitor from far across the galaxy… but at nearby Mossy Bottom Farm, Shaun has other things on his mind, as his mischievous schemes are continually thwarted by an exasperated Bitzer. When an impish and adorable alien with amazing powers crash-lands near Mossy Bottom Farm, Shaun soon sees an opportunity for alien-powered fun and adventure, setting off on a mission to shepherd the intergalactic visitor home before a sinister organisation can capture her…can Shaun and the flock avert Farmageddon on Mossy Bottom Farm before it’s too late?
Will Becher and Richard Phelan direct and the voices of Justin Fletcher and John Sparkes are just a couple of the voice actors starring.
Farmageddon: A Shaun the Sheep Movie hits UK cinemas on October 18 and in the US on December 13.
