Extremely Wicked, Shockingly Evil and Vile trailer: Zac Efron becomes Ted Bundy
This year’s Sundance Festival is underway and with it will come a number of first looks at what could be some of the most talked about films of 2019. Extremely Wicked, Shockingly Evil and Vile makes its debut tomorrow and is one of the most anticipated films of the festival. It’s something of a Ted Bundy season at the moment after Netflix released a docu-series called Conversations with a Killer: The Ted Bundy Tapes yesterday. A first trailer for Extremely Wicked, Shockingly Evil and Vile has just been released and you can see it above.
Ted: handsome, smart, charismatic, affectionate. Liz: a single mother, cautious, but smitten. A picture of domestic bliss, the two seem to have it all figured out. That is until Ted is arrested and charged with a series of increasingly grisly murders. As concern turns to paranoia, Liz is forced to consider how well she knows the man she shares a life with and, as the evidence piles up, decide if Ted is truly a victim, or actually guilty as charged.
Joe Berlinger directs, with Kaya Scodelario, John Malkovich, Angela Sarafyan, Jim Parsons and Haley Joel Osment all supporting Zac Efron who stars as Bundy.
Extremely Wicked, Shockingly Evil and Vile will open in UK cinemas and Sky Cinema later this year.
