New Godzilla: King of the Monsters trailer: A first sighting of King Ghidorah
The first teaser and trailer for Godzilla: King of the Monsters arrived around the same time as the Diego Comic-Con back in July. A short teaser was shown to attendees at the Tokyo Comic Con a couple of weeks ago. Fans at Brazil's Comic Con got to see the new trailer ahead of everyone else this weekend past. In it, we get a first glimpse of the film's main antagonist, the three-headed dragon, King Ghidorah, who will be joined by Mothra and the pteranodon Rodan. A new trailer for Godzilla: King of the Monsters has been readied and dropped by Warner Bros. and you can check it out above right now.
The new film pits Godzilla against some of the most popular monsters in pop culture history. It follows the heroic efforts of the cryptozoological agency Monarch as its members face off against a battery of god-sized monsters, including the mighty Godzilla, who collides with Mothra, Rodan, and his ultimate nemesis, the three-headed King Ghidorah. When these ancient super-species—thought to be mere myths—rise again, they all vie for supremacy, leaving humanity’s very existence hanging in the balance.
Directed by Michael Dougherty, the cast stars Millie Bobby Brown, Kyle Chandler, Vera Farmiga, Bradley Whitford, Sally Hawkins, Charles Dance, Thomas Middleditch, O’Shea Jackson Jr., Ken Watanabe, and Zhang Ziyi.
Godzilla: King of the Monsters smashes in UK cinemas on May 31st 2019.
