Dumplin' trailer: Jennifer Aniston faces a beauty pageant revolution


Patti Cake$ saw Danielle Macdonald make a name for herself and now she finds herself starring alongside Jennifer Aniston as her daughter in the new Netflix comedy, Dumplin'. It's set in a small Texas town and there will be a lot of Dolly Parton playing from start to finish. The film is based on Julie Murphy's 2015 young adult novel of the same name, and lands on Netflix in a few weeks. Check out the trailer above for Dumplin' to see more.

Dumplin’ (Danielle Macdonald) is the plus-size, teenage daughter of a former beauty queen (Jennifer Aniston), who signs up for her mom’s pageant as a protest that escalates when other contestants follow her footsteps, revolutionizing the pageant and their small Texas town.

Anne Fletcher directs, with the supporting cast featuring Odeya Rush, Dove Cameron and Harold Perrineau.
