Terminator 2: Skynet Ediion (UK BD) in June

Optimum Home Entertainment have announced the UK Blu-ray Disc release of Terminator 2: Skynet Ediion on 1st June 2009. Timed to the release of Terminator Salvation in cinemas, Terminator 2 returns to Blu-ray Disc with a new THX certification. In addition to the commentaries from James Cameron and co-writer William Wisher from the 2008 release, the Skynet Edition features brand new special features including interactive commentary intercut and in synch with the film, and a new slideshow mode showing drawings, concepts and exclusive photos from the production branching out from key scenes in the film.

Priced at £24.99 RRP, the Skynet Edition will be packaged in a specially designed steel tin. There is also a Play.com exclusive limited “Endoskull casing” edition with an RRP of £84.99.
