In The Name of the King (US BD) in December

Fox Home Entertainment have announced the US Blu-ray Disc release of In The Name of the King: A Dungeon Siege Tale on 16th December 2008 priced at $29.99 SRP. Based on the “Dungeon Siege” video game series and directed by Uwe Boll, the harrowing journey of In The Name of the King: A Dungeon Siege Tale begins as a hardworking family man (Jason Statham) becomes a reluctant warrior after an evil sorcerer (Ray Liotta) sends an army of murderous beasts to ransack his peaceful village and capture his wife (Claire Forlani).

The Blu-ray Disc release features an Unrated Director’s Cut version of the film with over 35-minutes of new footage. You also get a BD exclusive director’s commentary along with deleted scenes, a behind-the-scenes featurette and the original trailer. The Blu-ray is authored in BD-J on a dual-layer 50GB disc presented in widescreen with English 5.1 DTS-HD Master Audio plus English and Spanish subtitles.

Region coding is TBC, though the vast majority of Fox titles (all but 2 at the time of writing) are Region A.
