IFA 2007: Blu-ray players aplenty

Blu-ray's presence at IFA 2007 is, as promised, huge. Pioneer, Philips, Sharp, and of course, Sony, were all displaying their players for the European market, at the BDA stand. 24p video output is being pushed as a key feature for each of the players.

Here's some eye candy for Blu-ray Disc fans!

The BDP-S300 and its higher-end brother, the BDP-S500, as announced yesterday by DVD Times.

Sharp's player, the BD-HP20, is particularly interesting, as it shares the "AQUOS" brand usually reserved for Sharp's LCD TVs.

Check back later tonight on DVD Times for coverage of the Sony Pictures Home Entertainment Blu-ray party.
