Halloween (2007) & Diary of the Dead (US BD) in October

Genius Products and The Weinstein Company have scheduled the US Blu-ray Disc release of Rob Zombie’s Halloween and George A. Romero’s Diary of the Dead on 21st October 2008. Priced at $34.95 SRP and $29.95 SRP respectively, official specs and region coding information are TBC though both are expected to retain all DVD extras.

Halloween - The Blu-ray Disc is a two-disc set featuring the Director’s Cut alongside all extras from the 2007 DVD release plus the new four-and-a-half hour (!!) making-of documentary that is part of a new 3-Disc CE DVD due to arrive a couple of weeks earlier on 7th October (details here at Fangoria).

  • 17 deleted scenes with optional director’s commentary
